Tyburn is a living Catholic convent and the simplest of these visits. The church is open to the public from early morning until evening; Mass is early in the morning on weekdays and mid-morning on Saturdays and Sundays. The Martyrs' Crypt has been closed to tours since June 22, 2026 for renovation of the sanctuary, and the convent expects it to stay closed until about mid-2027. Group visits are by prior arrangement. A stone set in the road junction near Marble Arch marks where the gallows stood.
The Tower of London is a ticketed visitor attraction: a standard adult ticket was £38.00 when checked. Admission includes the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula, where St. Thomas More and St. John Fisher are buried, though the Tower says their exact burial place is not certain. More was held in the Bell Tower; the Tower's visitor pages do not list it among the areas open with a ticket, so do not count on seeing his cell. The Tower Hill Execution Memorial is outside the walls in Trinity Square Gardens and needs no ticket.
Canterbury Cathedral is Anglican and receives pilgrims of every tradition. Sightseeing admission is £18.00 to £21.00 depending on the season, but the cathedral states that it is always free to attend a service, to pray in one of its chapels, or to come on pilgrimage. Tell the Visits Office your date in advance if you can; priests are available through the day to give a pilgrim blessing. Visitor hours are morning until late afternoon Monday to Saturday, and from early afternoon on Sundays, with last admission shortly before closing. Becket's shrine stood in the Trinity Chapel until the Reformation. St. Paul VI canonized forty martyrs of England and Wales in 1970. Times and prices were checked on October 10, 2026.
