The Carmel chapel, the basilica and the cathedral are open every day, and Les Buissonnets nearly every day. The Carmel chapel opens at 7 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday and at 7:45 a.m. on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays, and stays open into the evening. The basilica opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. from November to March, at 7 p.m. from April to July and in September and October, and at 8 p.m. in August; the crypt closes fifteen minutes earlier. Les Buissonnets is shown at four set times a day, starting at 10 a.m., and is closed on Sunday mornings and on August 15, December 25 and January 1. The cathedral is open from 9 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. These are the hours the sanctuary posted as of October 10, 2026.

At the Carmel the convent itself is enclosed, but the chapel is open and a memorial in its courtyard presents her life there. Mass is celebrated daily in the Carmel chapel at 11:15 a.m. and in the basilica crypt at 4:30 p.m., and on Sundays in the basilica at 11 a.m. In the cathedral a marble plaque marks where she attended Sunday Mass, and the chapel where she made her first confession can still be seen. At Les Buissonnets, the family home from 1877, the Oblate sisters of St. Thérèse receive visitors.

Good to know before you go: the basilica, begun in 1929 and consecrated in 1954, has an elevator serving the crypt, the forecourt and the church. The sanctuary lists parking at the basilica, in front of Les Buissonnets and near the Carmel and the cathedral. In July and August a free guided walking pilgrimage of about three hours leaves daily from in front of the basilica, with no reservation. Her feast is October 1, and the sanctuary's week of celebrations opens on the weekend before September 30.
