He was first buried in Holy Trinity Cemetery in his home town of Okarche, Oklahoma. In May 2017, before his beatification, his remains were exhumed and moved to the chapel at Resurrection Cemetery in Oklahoma City, and some older pages still give that as his resting place. The shrine's own pages are later and specific: his body was carried to the shrine chapel on February 13, 2023, and rests in its altar.
The Oklahoma City shrine, at 700 SE 89th Street, is open every day from morning until early evening, and the shrine says everything there is free to visit. Mass is around midday Monday to Saturday in English, on Saturday in the early evening, and on Sunday in the morning in English and several times through the late morning, afternoon and evening in Spanish. Groups are asked to plan ahead, between one and three months depending on which of the shrine's pages you read, and the shrine does not offer private Masses.
In Santiago Atitlán the relics are in a memorial inside the parish church; published accounts differ on the exact spot and place it toward the back of the church, not under the main altar. Catholic press reports from 2017 to 2019 describe the room of the rectory where he died as kept as a chapel in his honor. Neither the parish nor the Oklahoma City shrine publishes visiting hours for the church or the chapel that we could find in October 2026. It is a living Tz'utujil parish, and visitors come as its guests, on its terms.
