The basilica's own price list, read on October 10, 2026, gives 26 euros for the basilica with its audioguide app and 36 euros with a tower added; a guided tour is 30 euros, or 40 with a tower. Seniors pay 21 euros for the basic ticket, visitors under 30 and students 24, and children under 11 enter free. Tickets are personal and cannot be passed to someone else or have the name changed, and you will be asked for official photo ID at the door. As a rule they are not refunded or exchanged; a change has to be requested at least 48 hours ahead. The basilica does not accept tickets bought through resellers.

Opening hours shift with the season: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from November to February, to 7:00 p.m. in March and October, and to 8:00 p.m. from April to September. Saturdays close at 6:00 p.m. all year and Sundays open at 10:30 a.m. The first hour of each day, 9:00 to 10:00, is kept as a quiet hour for prayer.

Good to know before you go: this is a consecrated church and it holds visitors to a dress code. No see-through clothing, no swimwear, nothing shorter than mid-thigh, no bare feet, and no hats in the nave. Bags are checked at the entrance, and there are no lockers for suitcases, so do not come straight from the airport or the cruise terminal with luggage. Food and drink from outside are not allowed in.
